TEACH CHINA recruits on behalf of Government of China, Provincial Governments and SAFEA
Approved schools, colleges and universities throughout the length and breadth of Mainland China. TEACH CHINA is one of a handful of Central Government accredited CHRATA non-government
organisations that is lawfully authorized for the purpose of recruiting foreign teachers of English for Chinese schools. This is your safety net.
All Chinese Government Schools that are SAFEA and Foreign Affairs Office authorised to employ foreign teachers are required to maintain minimum teaching, living and accommodation standards as
proclaimed, from time to time, by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (S.A.F.E.A.). This
is your absolute guarantee. Provided you do not break the law, work diligently and competently and pass your regular work assessments, your school is obliged to provide you with accoutrements to
certain minimum standards; to provide the contracted benefits and to pay your salary in full and on time. TEACH CHINA

Chinese schools, colleges and universities are always in need of good conversational English language teachers, especially trained teachers. At TEACH CHINA
there are two main intake times, August and February and the largest choice of locations comes at these times of greatest demand. Mid to late
semester there is much less demand for teachers, and hence, far less choice with regard final posting.

and places quite different to those you find at home. This brings with it an obvious need for an open-minded approach, a sense of adventure, tolerance and an awareness that,
perhaps, some aspects of your lifestyle may need to be altered to suit prevailing conditions. Days can be quite strenuous, filled with classes, staff meetings and lesson preparation,
and at times weekend duies. Things don't always run smoothly and occasionally conditions may be
frustrating, but equally rewards are great for those with a genuine spirit of enquiry. Remember this is not a journey of comparison but an opportunity for discovery.Chinese nationals are generally happy, healthy and honest, and are equal to the most obliging hosts in
the world. Chinese society whilst being extremely modest, devoid of smut and sexual connotations,
can at times appear almost contradictory. Foreign teachers are expected to set an example, conduct themselves in an ethical, mature manner and observe minimum dress standards. Do not be
disappointed and hold yourself up for unnecessary criticism and potential dismissal; follow a few simple dress and decorum rules and you can have an absolutely fabulous time in China.
Following is a list of the attractive benefits and entitlements TEACH CHINA states you can reasonably
expect from a school, college or university at which you may be employed in China: Some give more,
much more, some give slightly less; but all ensure a minimum level of personal comfort and privacy.
1 Reimbursement of your round trip international airfare if you contract for a minimum of two semesters; one way airfare if for only one semester.
2 Meet & Greet on arrival in China and round trip transport from your China entry airport to your final destination.
3.The Provision of furnished western style accommodation [at least] equal to a standard 3 Star Hotel. 4. Guaranteed monthly salary for the duration of your contract.
5. SAFEA or similar approved Employment Contract. 6. "Green Card" or temporary residency permit for the duration of your stay.
