Foreigners accessing this site should always be reminded that the People's Republic of China is a Socialist Communist Society.
China is a controlled society, "Western Democracies" are regulated societies. The principles are quite different. Whereas the West is regulated through an excessive
plethora of legislation; Statutes, Regulations, By-laws. The People's Republic of China maintains the principles and maintenance of Law through the more pragmatic approach of Guidelines,
Provisions and Rules. Many persons residing overseas believe they have inalienable rights imbedded in their Constitutions and
that by travelling to China these rights will be stripped from them. This is entirely untrue. China's Foreign
Policy is tuned to world peace and harmony between all countries, China's domestic policies are
designed to stimulate love of country, respect for all people and property, compassion and caring for
fellow countrymen, and the right of all Chinese to strive hard for the betterment their country and personal position.
